Middle School Building Testing Coordinator/Academic Support

Receives Guidance From: Building Principal/Supervisor of Special Education

Pay Grade: Grade 3, Step 1, $16.19 per hour

Schedule: 29.5 hours per week / School Year Position 

 

Job Summary: The Testing Center Coordinator is responsible for managing the testing center, specifically supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. This role involves coordinating accommodations, tracking their use, and ensuring all testing protocols are met. Additionally, this position assists with school-wide testing administration and provides instructional support to students in alignment with our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear in a standard school environment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work may be performed indoors and/or outdoors. The Testing Center Coordinator is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.

 

Mental Functions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate.
